Talking about Taiwan :
Comic Series
Project Manager
+ 3 Comic Books
+ B&W
+ 90 pages
The whole series produces comic books of historical events to introduce Transitional Justice to young people. Taiwan is the freest Mandarin-speaking country. However, the road of freedom pays by blood. There was a period of White Terror in Taiwanese history, causing traumatic events from 1947 to 1987. Some events are not familiar to the public in Taiwan. Therefore, the WorldSoftest company selected five events in this project, using comics as an attractive way to tell these saddening incidents.
This project is commissioned by the Ministry of Culture in Taiwan, inviting different illustrators, scriptwriters, and researchers to complete this whole series. The producer and I decided how the stories go and what type of comic style would fit in telling the different historical events. As a project manager, I systematically formed the procedure from researching scriptwriting to illustrating and publishing, for this is the first time for the film production company to participate in publishing projects.
